Great take out food at a good price & good people. Always went to Grand China since they had best Chinese food in the area & had to find a new place when they closed. This is now my go to.

Great Chinese restaurant! My husband found out about this place and it's one of his favorites now. He says that the lo mein is the best he's ever had. Overall great place and definitely recommend it.

When I moved to Lancaster, I had a hard time finding a Chinese restaurant that compared to my old favorites, but after trying Golden Gate it has become our go to Chinese restaurant. I'm so happy it exists. I love that they put a lot of veggies in most of their dishes and the prices are still good. The eggrolls are really good too! This is a place where you get takeout. They have like one table inside.

One of the few good places in central PA to get Americanized Chinese food. Very friendly owner and always good food. We get take out for lunch once a week for years now. No other good spot within 10 miles for this kind of food.

The service here is good the shop it's self dosen't hold many frills. But the quilty of the grub is why we like it. We were recommended to this place by a friend. Every time we go to grocery outlet store or smile builders we stop in here. DO IT!!!

I’ve been searching for the best Chinese takeout in Lancaster and I think I’ve found it. I had almost given up hope of finding good chicken lo mein. I am so glad I stopped to check this place out. Just about as typical Chinese takeout as you can get as far as atmosphere. One thing stood out to me though, this is a family business! My all time favorite Lancaster Chinese takeout (China 1 in New Holland, RIP) was a family run spot. When I noticed that here I got immediately excited. The service was great. Prices were typical. Nothing on the crazy high side. They do have lots of specials on their menu which is nice if you like combos. The real winner here is the food. Tons of flavor and cooked perfectly. If you’re searching for good Chinese takeout in Lancaster like I was, you must try Golden Gate. My new go to Chinese takeout!

Love this place! Great customer service. Not rude like some other Chinese restaurants. The food is consistently amazing. I recommend the orange and bourbon chicken! Yum!
